Licensed Software, Microsoft 365 and Subscriptions

Genuine Microsoft, Adobe, antivirus and business software — licensed correctly, renewed on time, audit-ready.

In short

Software licensing is the process of buying, assigning and tracking the legal right to run each application in a business, and keeping proof of it. ITVEDA supplies genuine Microsoft 365, Windows, Office, Adobe, Tally, antivirus and other business software, then manages assignment, renewals and reharvesting so you pay only for licences that are actually in use. Every purchase comes with the documentation needed to survive a vendor audit.

What is included

What software licensing covers

Everything below is in scope as standard. Anything outside it is quoted and approved by you before any work starts.

  • Correct licence selection

Business Basic against Business Standard against Business Premium, chosen from what your staff actually need rather than the top tier by default.

  • Microsoft 365 tenant setup

Domain verification, mail flow, user provisioning, security defaults, MFA and Conditional Access configured properly.

  • Email and data migration

Mailboxes, contacts, calendars and file shares moved from an old host or on-premises server with minimal downtime.

  • Antivirus and EDR licensing

Endpoint security licensed per device with a central console, not left to whatever each user installed.

  • Renewal management

Renewal dates tracked and flagged in advance, so nothing expires quietly mid-quarter.

  • Compliance records

Invoices, licence keys, entitlement records and assignment reports kept in one place for audit.

How it works

The delivery process, step by step

Nothing here is a surprise on the day. Each step has a named output, and you sign off before the next one starts.

  1. 1 · Licence audit

    In progress

What is installed, what is licensed and where the two do not match.

  2. 2 · Right-sizing

    Not started

Unused and over-specified licences identified and downgraded or removed at the next renewal.

  3. 3 · Procurement

    Not started

Licences purchased through authorised channels with documentation in your company name.

  4. 4 · Deployment

    Not started

Tenant configuration, assignment, installation and any required migration.

  5. 5 · Ongoing management

    Not started

Joiners assigned, leavers reharvested, renewals tracked, spend reviewed each quarter.

What changes

What you actually get out of it

  • Genuine licences with documentation in the company name

  • No unbudgeted true-up after a vendor audit

  • Spend reduced by reclaiming licences from leavers

  • Renewals handled before expiry, not after an outage

Questions

Software Licensing — frequently asked questions

Straight answers, including the cases where the honest answer is that you do not need this service.

Which Microsoft 365 plan should a small business choose?

Business Basic covers web and mobile Office with hosted email. Business Standard adds the desktop applications. Business Premium adds Intune device management, Entra ID P1 and Defender for Business, and is the right choice once you are managing company-owned laptops or handling sensitive data. Most offices mix plans by role rather than buying one tier for everyone.

What is the risk of using unlicensed software?

Beyond the legal exposure under the Copyright Act and the cost of a true-up settlement, unlicensed installations do not receive security updates and are a routine source of malware. In practice, the update problem causes damage long before an audit does.

Can you migrate our email to Microsoft 365?

Yes. Mailboxes, contacts, calendars, distribution lists and shared mailboxes are migrated from Google Workspace, an on-premises Exchange server or a hosting provider, usually over a weekend with mail flow cut over in a planned window.

Do you help reduce our software spend?

Yes, and it is usually the first thing an audit finds. Licences assigned to people who have left, duplicate products doing the same job and premium tiers bought for users who need the basic one are all common. Right-sizing at renewal typically recovers a meaningful share of the annual bill.

Do you supply licences in our company name?

Yes. Entitlements are registered to your organisation, not held in a reseller account, so the licences remain yours regardless of who supports you in future.
